Exporting and Importing ChildPlus Data into Teaching Strategies Gold

Follow these steps to export your data from ChildPlus and import it into TS Gold. You can also Click here to learn more and read our frequently asked questions:

 

TS Gold Setup

Contact TS Gold Technical Support for help with these steps.

 

  1. Log in to your TS Gold Account.
  2. Create Programs, Teachers, Sites and Classes.
  3. Find and make note of the classID for each class. You can generate a list of the classID's from within TS GOLD by clicking download the list here on the Import Student Records into GOLD screen.

 

ChildPlus Setup

Contact ChildPlus Technical Support for help with these steps.

 

  1. Map the languages in ChildPlus to the corresponding languages in TS Gold (you can do this via Setup > Module Setup > Teaching Strategies GOLD Export).
  2. Use the following steps to enter the TS GOLD classID's obtained in step 3 for each classroom:
    1. Go to Setup > Agency Configuration > Agency Info.
    2. Select an agency.
    3. Go to the Sites tab for the selected agency and then the Classrooms tab for the selected site.
    4. Enter the classIDs into the TS Gold CLASS ID column.
    5. Repeat steps b-d for each agency you want to export.

 

Export

Contact ChildPlus Technical Support for help with these steps.

 

  1. Run ChildPlus report 6510 - Teaching Strategies Gold Export.
  2. Select the Program Terms, Agencies, Sites, Classrooms and Enrollment Statuses you want to include.
  3. (Optional) Click View in Grid and make sure no required information is missing.
  4. Click Export and save the file to a location where you will be able to find it later.

 

Import

Contact TS Gold Technical Support for help with these steps.

 

  1. Log in to your TS Gold Account.
  2. Run the Student Import tool.
  3. Select the file that you saved in Step 9.
